Hello there!
I'm a brazilian with the necessity of financial structure, so I'm opening headshot commissions for the public for the first time in a while. I'm going back to this only recently after a lot of personal problems, so I ask to please be patient to me as I get adjusted!
And again, each headshot will cost $30 and $22.5 with Wise.
I'll expand more as time goes on, to get commission from bust and full body, and eventually with backgrounds. As for now, I want to do it little by little. So this Carrd will most likely change in the future as well, both in visual and content. Take this as a "BETA" kind of thing.Prices also might change in the future.A few observations before commissioning:• You can communicate to me by sending a DM to any social media I'm present.
• Be sure to send a reference of your character.
• Half of the payment will be made before the sketch phase and the other after the art is done.
• Refunds can be requested: you can receive a full refund before the commission began, and a partial refund depending of how much work your commission has been made.
• Be aware that I retain full copyright of any image created by me.
• As a client, you have total right to post your commission at any place you want, as long as it's for non-commercial use and with proper credits.
• I can refuse a commission request for any reason.

• The payment can be made both through Wise and Paypal, with Wise having a 25% discount over every commission price.
• A link will be sent before the art begin.

Why I'm avoinding PayPal

I'm aware that PayPal is universally used to make worldwide transactions specially within the furry fandom, for many the only payment method as I also used for a long time, however, there are many shady and bureaucratic practices in this company that not enough people talk about and I myself went through. You can have a simple idea with the Honey exposed scam practices which is owned by PayPal, for those who don't remember or don't know, you can access it by clicking on the link below.
Practices that I already went through with PayPal:
• Wrong conversion with excessive transaction fee
• "On Hold" money almost always for no good reason
• Terrible costumer support, talking ages to solve a basic problem
• Address exposure
• Unable to refund digital goods (which I already tried manually, causing my account to be locked)
• Unable to retain any money at PayPal which is sent directly at my brazilian bank account (which is good and bad in some situations, I'll explain below)Not only I've been always stolen by them from wrong conversion and excessive fees to this day, but the Honey scam and even the new "Mastercard and Visa censorship" gives you a new (and worse) perspective of the situation, which makes you impossible to trust into a company like that. You can actually see more of PayPal shady practices specially with artists with the video below, which is also made by an artist called Duchess Celestia, from 3 years ago and not changed since.
It's a 20 minutes video explaining their practices, their responses, if it's legal or illegal, and what to do to avoid it.One of the practices on that video for those who don't have the patience or time to watch:
• Investing your money without your consent
• Bans/locked account done by bots, a thing I've witnessed seeing with people I know, going through unfair/out of nowhere punishment with the risk of the money being taken away (the moment you agreed with their policies, you accept that risk, which already happened in many cases and put their users in the dark about it)
And all of this is within their policy, legally stealing from hundred of users, and it's something done for decades.

Actually no, transfering money can still be a headache and I myself went through those headaches like I said above. Not only that, but you are still giving money to the company by doing transactions in it.Again, PayPal will still be a payment method for my commissions, but no discount will be applied even if you live in the few countries where Wise isn't accepted.
Why Wise then?
Wise is the best bank I've found and most similar to PayPal in comparison to other banks (which is not exclusive to North America/US and also not owned by PayPal), for both people who are used to receive and to pay through it, with more compatibility with other countries, much faster and pretty much the same and even easier account creation.In my country (Brazil), corruption is getting more and more visible while the economy is melting and our money is getting more and more devalued and monitored, going to the point where Bitcoin is being debated as a replacement for transactions since the government wouldn't have access to our account, the best way to protect myself against this meltdown is to convert my money (BRL) in dollar and also in a non-brazilian bank - a thing that it's impossible with PayPal since they automatically send the money to my brazilian bank, which is dangerous considering the circustamces here.
The fee for Wise transaction is minimal, to the point of being cents, and obviously no shady practices like PayPal's as long as I'm aware - so the money loss won't affect me as nearly.I'll be more than happy to help those to create a Wise account and even migrate to it if be the case.Just a note: to finish creating an account on Wise you'd need to deposit $20 in your balance, which you CAN use right away and make your balance at $0 again if you wish so.
